A friend once asked me if I knew what “positive discrimination” was? I declared that such a concept does not exist, as it is a rhetorical figure contradictory in itself. I was wrong. The leftists have been wringing out the old notions so long and so assiduously until not a drop survives there. And once they have a dry chip in their hands, they soak it up with new (revolutionary) content. Going back to a conversation with an acquaintance about 30 years ago, it concerned the college admissions system in the US. Negroes were a preferred group there because of… the color of their skin, which was supposed to be some kind of “compensation” for the years of oppression their parents and grandparents had experienced. Nothing that others (whites, yellows and oranges) had better performance, it mattered absolutely nothing! Only skin color mattered. So if someone had the right background, he received a motorcycle from the state (as a gift) right at the start. And now come here, man, race when you have a flood of sneakers on your feet! No,” I thought, ”this is so stupid that it has no chance to digest in nature. Many years later, the late Professor Boguslaw Wolniewicz (in one of his interviews) declared that the United States is already a “failed state” because it has begun to wear its panties over its head (this is my interpretation of Mr. Professor’s words). Perhaps this diagnosis by Mr. Professor was premature, but it should have signaled a disturbing and dangerous process taking place in Western civilization, which can be characterized by the now prevailing doctrine that “walking on one’s hands is definitely better, because walking on one’s feet is slower.”

After this decidedly lengthy introduction, let’s return to the event that prompted this text. Well, Elon Musk did not get permission to operate one of his companies in South Africa, because South African law stipulates that 30 percent of the company’s capital should belong to black South Africans. South African citizens are also white, but apparently they are now second-class citizens. Musk – and rightly so – accused the South African authorities of blatant racism. If I were Mr. Musk, I wouldn’t be so irritated, because the world is already (and will be in the future, too) divided into production centers and beautiful open-air museums. South Africa will be in the pool of the latter.

By the way, we learned that South Africa’s “progressive” government has enacted a new land law that under certain circumstances (when it is “just, equitable and in the public interest”) allows land to be taken without compensation. PRL-bis in its new (black) guise. This must have surprised Donald Trump himself, who accused South Africa of discriminating against its white Afrikaner minority (descendants of Dutch and French fruit farmers). President Trump offered refugee status to South African farmers. – Any farmer, not just Afrikaners, will be able to move to the US, the US president said. That is, a black man who owns land in South Africa will also be able to emigrate to the US! Trump’s meanness knows no bounds!

I’m making excuses about South Africa, but in our country, too, political stupidity is galloping at such a pace that it could go in competition with the best mounts taking part in the Great Pardubice Steeplechase. In 2011, under changes proposed in the so-called Quota Law, electoral committees were required to allocate at least 35 percent of seats on electoral lists for women! Are there no women in the party, or are there but not very willing to run? Practice mental yoga! Combine. Find willing to cut back there and sew in here. And how is this stupidity demeaning to the Women themselves!!!?
